Frequently Asked Questions

General

  • Signing up with Jod is easy. Just download the Jod app here, once downloaded open the app and click ‘Sign Up’, fill in the information needed and you are good to go to apply for a job.

  • Yes, you can! If you are a student, kindly be reminded of the MOM regulations regarding your eligibility for work. Also, don’t forget to send to the Jod Team via help@jod.com.sg your student pass or any documentation that shows you are a student with an MOM approved school. If you are an LTVP holder, submit your Long-term Visit Pass along with the Certified Letter of Consent.

  • Your application can be processed by the respective Hiring Managers within 24 hours or depending on the start date of the job you applied for. Don’t worry, once you are selected, you will receive immediate notification via Jod App, Email, SMS, and/or WhatsApp so always keep your line open.

  • Once your application is successful, you will receive a notification via Email, SMS, Jod App Push Notification, and/or WhatsApp in regards to the status of your application. At the same time, you can also use your Jod App and all successful applications will be moved over to your ‘Approved Jobs’.

  • For the jobs you completed today, please expect that payment will be processed on the next business day.

Insurance

  • Aptus Technologies Pte. Ltd is the group policyholder and these policies are underwritten and issued by Etiqa Insurance.

  • You must first notify your claim to Jod within 24 hours from the date of the accident

    You’ll need to fill out a claim form and attach the following documents and email to help@jod.com.sg :

    • Medical certificate or hospital discharge summary

    • Medical report (if applicable)

    • Any statement obtained from the police or other authorities (if applicable)

    All accidents should be reported to the Etiqa by submitting the claim report within the stipulated agreement period, no later than 7 days after the accident occurred. Further documents or information may be required by Etiqa depending on the circumstances of your claim.

    Please insert Aptus Technologies Pte. Ltd. as the policyholder and P0001123 as the policy number.

  • You can submit your liability claim to Jod’s helpdesk at help@jod.com.sg

  • For accident claims, payout may take up to 21 working days upon full submission of supporting documents and approval.

    For liability claims, it will be on a case by case basis.

Account Related

  • If you are having trouble logging in, you can click ‘Forgot Password’, input your registered Phone Number and Email Address with Jod and click ‘Confirm’. You should receive an email that contains the link where you can reset your password. If this doesn’t work, feel free to send us an email at help@jod.com.sg and we will be happy to help you.

  • To ensure the quality of our users and our platform, we disable accounts due to multiple reasons. One is if you frequently had job cancellations and no shows. Second is if we weren’t able to confirm your identity. If you believe that we made a mistake, you can send us an email at help@jod.com.sg and we’ll be happy to help you.

  • If you didn’t receive the OTP code, kindly check that your phone number is correct and active and you have a stable cellular signal. Once you have checked that the number is correct and active and you have a stable cellular signal, you can click the ‘Resend’. After doing so and you still haven't received the OTP code, feel free to send us an email at help@jod.com.sg and we will be happy to help you.

  • Once your application is successful, you will receive a notification via Email, SMS, Jod App Push Notification, and/or WhatsApp in regards to the status of your application. At the same time, you can also use your Jod App and all successful applications will be moved over to your ‘Approved Jobs’.

  • For the jobs you completed today, please expect that payment will be processed on the next business day.

JodRewards

  • All users on the platform are eligible and are automatically enrolled in JodRewards.

  • No. Participation in JodRewards is completely free for as long as you are able to meet the criteria set for your desired tier.

  • Tiers are determined based on the number of completed jobs you have per quarter.

  • You can upgrade your tier by completing the required number of jobs per quarter and meeting the average rating needed.

    For the silver tier, you need to complete 42 jobs in a quarter to upgrade to this tier while the gold tier will require 72 jobs in a quarter.

  • No. Your tier changes (upgrade/downgrade) are done once per quarter and it will upgrade/downgrade on the 1st day of the new quarter.
